We start with crispy cubes of Nutrafarms’ peameal bacon, toss them with fragrant garlic, then build a rich ricotta and cream sauce brightened with lemon zest and sweetened with just a drizzle of honey. The result? A creamy, savoury, nutty pasta that’s guaranteed to be a family favourite.
Whether you serve it for a weeknight dinner or impress guests on the weekend, this recipe delivers big flavour without complicated steps.

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • Nutrafarms peameal bacon
  • Pasta of your choice (rigatoni, penne, or linguine work beautifully)
  • 4–6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Pepper to taste
  • ½ cup pistachios, blended or finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Pasta water (save ½ cup before draining)

🍳 Instructions

1. Chop & Sizzle the Bacon

  • Cut Nutrafarms peameal bacon into small cubes.
  • Add to a hot pan and cook on high heat for 6–7 minutes, or until slightly crispy.

2. Add Garlic

Toss in minced garlic and stir for about a minute, just until fragrant. (Keep the heat in check so it doesn’t burn.)

3. Cook Your Pasta

Meanwhile, boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Save ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

4. Create the Sauce

Lower heat to medium-low. Add ricotta and heavy cream to the pan with bacon and garlic. Stir gently until smooth.

5. Zest, Drizzle & Season

Add lemon zest, honey, fresh pepper, and the reserved pasta water. Stir to combine and let it gently simmer.

6. Mix & Finish

Add drained pasta directly to the sauce. Toss until every piece is beautifully coated.

7. Plate It Up

Serve in your favourite bowls and top generously with pistachios for crunch.

8. Enjoy
