🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Chicken:
2 Nutrafarms chicken breasts
½ cup flour
1 cup Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes (crushed)
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
For the Honey Cajun Sauce:
- ½ cup butter
- ⅔ cup honey
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp applesauce
🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the Chicken
Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise, then cut into strips to create tenders.
2. Season & Coat
- In a bowl, mix flour with salt, pepper, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
- Dip each chicken strip into the flour mix, then the beaten egg, and coat with crushed Frosted Flakes.
3. Air Fry
- Place tenders in your air fryer basket (in a single layer).
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 14 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
4. Make the Sauce
- While the chicken cooks, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add honey, Cajun seasoning, and applesauce. Stir for about 1 minute until smooth and glossy.
5. Glaze & Serve
Toss the cooked pasta directly into the sauce and coat well. Alternatively, plate the pasta and spoon the sauce over top.
